Karen J. Tenenbaum

Karen J. Tenenbaum

An attorney for thirty years, Karen founded the law firm Karen J. Tenenbaum, P.C., now Tenenbaum Law, P.C., in 1996 in order to provide legal counsel to individuals and businesses facing IRS and NYS tax problems. She and her team continue to pursue this goal by representing taxpayers before the IRS and New York State Department of Taxation of Finance.

Karen is a frequent speaker on IRS and NYS tax issues for numerous professional groups, on topics such as New York State residency matters, NYS collection issues, celebrity tax issues, and more. She served as Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Tax Committee and the IRS Long Island Practitioner Liaison Group. She also appeared on News 12 Long Island's special report "Hard Times: LI Survival Guide."

Karen’s guidance and leadership have established her as a leading tax attorney in the NY area. She was recognized by the Long Island Pulse Magazine as a Top Ten Legal Eagle for 2013.
